Anonymous To Operation Orlando

To the good people of Orlando,

We are Anonymous.

As you may or may not know, Anonymous targeted Orlando websites in protest against the arrests made by the Orlando police. We are protestsing these arrests because we feel they are in complete denial of freedom of speech.

The police of Orlando, and your lawmakers, have determined that organizing a charitable cause without complying with city ordiance, is not acceptable. The reasoning behind these arrests are unclear, but whatever the reason, Anonymous deems them as unacceptable.

We believe that people have the right to organize, that people have the right to give to the less fortunate, and that people have the right to commit acts of kindness and compassion. However, it appears the the police and lawmakers of Orlando do not.

We will not allow Food Not Bombs volunteers to be silenced. We will fight for their rights, and yours.

We hope that you understand why we are fighting against these acts, and we hope you will join us.

If nothing is accomplished from this, we will find comfort in knowing that the world has seen the selfish acts performed by the Orlando police.

Apparently, homeless people just arn’t people.
