The attack on the public website of the CIA has raised concerns about cyber security in Washington.
The intelligence agency said no confidential information was ever at risk but the incident is the latest in a spate of high-profile attacks on targets such as the IMF, US Congress, Citigroup, Sony and Google.

The National Security Agency has announced it’ll be taking part in a pilot program where it will team up with Internet Service Providers to scan emails and other digital traffic to stop a cyber attack, before it happens. But hypothetically the government can keep tabs on what you’re doing online, read your emails, and even who you interact with on social media sites. is this pilot-program announcement merely a PR move by the government to pretend like they haven’t already invaded your privacy?
